DARJEELING – PELLING –NAMCHI- GANGTOK – LACHUM - GANGTOK
Day 01 –NJP–Darjeeling– Meet
& Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Darjeeling(5,480
ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel. Night at Darjeeling.
Day 02 –Darjeeling– Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch
the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd
highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After
breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park
(Thursday close), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday
closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping
or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03 –Darjeeling–Pelling– After breakfast proceed
to Pelling (8 hrs. journey), en route enjoy River rafting (at your own cost).
Arrive Pelling and rest of the day is free at leisure. Night halt at Pelling.
Day 04 – Pelling– After breakfast start for full day
sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, SewaroRock
Garden, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. After lunch visit
Pemyang Monastery. There after rest of the days free to explore the natural
beauty of Pelling. Night halt at Pelling.
Day 05 –Pelling–Namchi – Gangtok– After breakfast proceed
to Gangtok (5-6 hrs. journeys) En route we will the famous Chardham Temple at
Namchi Village, enjoy your lunch here and then continue towards Gangtok.
Evening is free for rest. Night halt at Gangtok
Day 06 –Gangtok– After breakfast start for an
excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is
55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Sikkim which is known for its natural beauty. Optional
Nathula Pass (14200 ft.) China Border Nathula Pass is situated at 12 kms from Tsomgo
Lake. Officially closed on Monday & Tuesday Overnight stay at Gangtok.
(In case of Land slide or any other
reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)
Day 07 –Gangtok– Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point,
Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage
Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre
(maximum 6 hours) FREE FOR PERSONAL ACTIVITIES & MARKETING(Own Cost).
Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 08 –Gangtok–Lachung– After breakfast &
transfer to Lachung (8,800 ft) (Subject tp permit - 6 hrs. journey). Enroute
visit Mangan View, scenic views of Seven Sister Water Fall, Naga Water Fall,
and arrive Lachung by evening. Dinner at hotel. (Subject to permit - 6 hrs.
Journey)
Overnight stay at
Lachung
Day 09 –Lachung –Yumthang –Lachung–
After
breakfast drive to explore the Natural beauty of Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.
known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to
have medicinal properties. Visit snow point (Zero Point) at own cost later
departure for Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Overnight
stay at Gangtok
Day 10 –Gangtok – New
Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra –Train / Air Journey– After breakfast at 06:00 am transfer to New Jalpaiguri
station /Bagdogra airport (Flight/Train To Be Booked after 14:00 onwards) with
memorable experience of the tour conducted by Ashapura Tours & Travels.
